Don’t feel sympathy for those less fortunate, don’t feel empathy either but respect their decision to be where they are. They are not handicapped or with limited potential by accident. It is a conscious choice designed to bring out the best in themselves and in others. Even though it is the harder choice, it is still a choice. Respect that soul’s decision.
